Paramount Pictures lifts the lid on the last peek at the upcoming ‘Mean Girls’ musical ahead of its theatrical release on January 12.
Breathing new life into the characters “Cady Heron,” “Regina George,” “Aaron Samuels,” and the rest of the favorites from the cult classic that was the 2004 adaptation, the 2024 version – directed by Arturo Perez and Samantha Jayne – is based on EMMY-winning comic-actress Tina Fey‘s Broadway musical.
As dedicated fans of the ‘Mean’ franchise know, Fey is featured in both films.

Just like the Color Purple trailers, they make it look like a remake of the original and then people don’t know what to think when they see the movie because they’re not expecting the actors to break into song and dance in every single scene. It’s deceptive.
